The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Kalyani, West Bengal, has been designated as an Institute of National Importance. It is one of the newly established AIIMS under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The institute aims to address regional disparities in the availability of quality tertiary healthcare across India, while also promoting self-reliance in undergraduate, postgraduate, and advanced medical education and training.

Pay Scale | AIIMS Kalyani Recruitment 2024

The Senior Resident position offers a pay scale of ₹15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay ₹6,600 (as per the 6th CPC), and Level 11 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Pay Commission. Medical graduates will also receive NPA (Non-Practicing Allowance) in addition to other allowances

Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on a personal interview conducted after document verification. Candidates may apply for multiple posts, but separate applications and fees will be required for each post. A merit list will be prepared based on the performance in the interview, and any subsequent vacancies will be filled from the waiting list. The final result will be displayed on the official website
