Selection Procedure - Cochin Shipyard Apprentice Recruitment 2024

  • Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for their respective trade. In cases where multiple candidates have the same percentage of marks, seniority by age will be considered for ranking.
  • Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be informed via their registered email ID and will be required to present the following documents for verification:
    • Printout of the online application form with a unique registration number.
    • Original certificates proving age, qualification, and other relevant details.
    • Self-attested copies of all the above-mentioned certificates.
  • Final Selection: Candidates will be provisionally selected based on merit and subject to medical fitness. Successful candidates will execute an Apprenticeship contract agreement via the portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

Cochin Shipyard Apprentice Recruitment 2024 | Application Process

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the CSL website www.cochinshipyard.in and go to the Career page under the CSL Kochi section.
  2. Complete the one-time registration in CSL’s SAP E-recruitment portal.
  3. Submit the online application against the relevant Trade/Vocation.
  4. Upload all necessary documents, including proof of age, educational qualifications, caste, disability (if applicable), and a recent passport-size photograph.
  5. Once submitted, ensure that the application is complete and that all entries are correct. Incomplete applications or entries with incorrect details will be rejected.

Important Points:

  • Applicants should retain a soft copy/printout of the online application containing the unique registration number for future reference.
  • The application portal will be open from 09 October 2024 to 23 October 2024. It is recommended to submit applications well before the deadline to avoid heavy website traffic.
