Selection Procedure

1. Interview Process:
   1. Selection will be based on a personal interview conducted by a duly constituted selection board.
2. Application Scrutiny:
   1. Applications submitted on the day of the walk-in interview, along with the requisite fee, will be reviewed by the scrutiny committee. Only eligible candidates will be permitted to appear for the interview.
   2. If the number of applicants is large, the selection committee may implement shortlisting criteria, which may include a screening test.
3. Eligibility Criteria:
   1. A minimum of 50% of the total marks will be required to qualify for selection.
4. Post-Selection Requirements:
   1. Selected candidates must report for medical examination and verification of original certificates immediately after receiving a provisional offer of appointment via email.
5. Final Selection:
   1. The final selection will be based solely on performance in the personal interview.
6. Provisional Offer:
   1. Offers of appointment are provisional and subject to verification of original documents at the time of joining.
7. Waiting List:
   1. A waiting list of candidates will be prepared, valid for two months from the result’s release date, subject to the Competent Authority’s approval.
8. Result Publication:
   1. The final result will be posted on the official website: https://www.esic.gov.in/recruitments.

General Instructions

• Submission of Applications:
  • Submission of an application does not automatically grant eligibility for an interview. Candidates must report on the scheduled date and time. Latecomers will not be allowed.
  • Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format. Incomplete or improperly formatted applications will be rejected.
• Eligibility and Documentation:
  • Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria and provide accurate information.
  • Misrepresentation or submission of false details will result in cancellation of candidature and may attract legal action.
• Provisional Nature of Interview:
  • Permission to appear for the interview is provisional and subject to verification of eligibility and reserved category certificates (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC):
  • Candidates currently employed must provide a No Objection Certificate from their employer on the day of the interview.
• Venue and Schedule:
  • Interviews will be conducted at the Office of the Dean, ESIC Medical College, Kalaburagi. However, ESIC reserves the right to change the venue or date, if necessary.
• Canvassing:
  • Any attempt to influence the selection process will result in disqualification.
• Reservation Policy:
  • Reservations will be implemented as per the Government of India guidelines.
• Expenses:
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the position.
• Service Claims:
  • Selected candidates will not be entitled to claims such as PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowances, Seniority, Promotion, or additional Leave.
• Leave Policy:
  • Leaves will be granted as per the ESIC Residency Scheme for Senior Residents, at 2.5 working days per month. Leaves cannot be availed in advance.
