MPESB Excise Constable (Abkari Aarakshak) Recruitment 2024 – Selection Process

Selection Process for the MP Excise Constable (Abkari Aarakshak) Recruitment 2024 consists of multiple stages. Candidates must clear each stage to qualify for the final appointment. The complete selection process is as follows:

1. Online Written Examination

• The exam is conducted online (Computer-Based Test – CBT).
• It consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), carrying 100 marks.
• The total duration is 2 hours.
• Subjects covered:
  • General Knowledge & Logical Reasoning – 40 Marks
  • Intellectual Ability & Mental Aptitude – 30 Marks
  • Science & Basic Mathematics – 30 Marks
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • Unreserved (UR): 60%
  • SC/ST/OBC/EWS: 50%
• The merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam.

2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Candidates who clear the written exam are called for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The physical standards required are:

3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates who qualify the PMT will undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET), which includes:

Only candidates who pass the PMT & PET will be considered for the final merit list.

4. Document Verification

Shortlisted candidates from the PET stage will be called for document verification. The following original documents must be produced:

• 10th & 12th Mark Sheets
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile Certificate (for MP residents)
• Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Driving License)
• Employment Exchange Registration (for MP candidates)
• Ex-Servicemen/Widow/PWD Certificates (if applicable)

Failure to produce valid documents may lead to disqualification.

5. Medical Examination

Candidates who clear all previous stages must undergo a medical fitness test conducted by a government medical board. The key medical requirements include:

• No knock-knees, flat feet, or vision problems.
• Must have good binocular vision and be free from any chronic diseases.
• No permanent disability affecting duty performance.

Final Selection & Merit List

• The final merit list is prepared based on written exam performance, provided the candidate qualifies the PMT, PET, and Medical Test.
• Candidates are appointed based on the category-wise vacancy distribution.
