Stream	Educational Qualification
For Science Subjects	– Passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
	– OR, completed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
	– OR, completed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.

Physical and Medical Standards

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has established specific Physical and Medical Standards for candidates applying for the Agniveer Vayu Intake 01/2026 recruitment in 2025. These standards ensure that candidates are fit to perform duties in various environments and conditions.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, except for those on the inner face of the forearms (from inside of elbow to wrist) and on the back (dorsal) part of the hand/reverse side of the palm.
Candidates are not permitted to marry during their tenure of four years in the IAF.
