Physical Standards for CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2025

• For General, EWS, SC, and OBC Candidates:
  • Height: Minimum 167 cm
  • Chest: Minimum 80 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (i.e., 80-85 cm).
• Relaxed Standards:
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm
  • Chest: Minimum 78 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (i.e., 78-83 cm).
  • Applicable Categories:
    • Candidates from Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, and Marathas, subject to submission of the required certificate (Appendix-D).
    • Candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, subject to submission of either a domicile certificate or a certificate as per Appendix-D.
  • Special Note: Includes candidates from Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA) comprising subdivisions of Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Kurseong and specific mouzas in these regions (e.g., Lohagarh Tea Garden, Sukna Forest, Nipania, etc.).
• For Scheduled Tribes (ST) Candidates:
  • Height: Minimum 160 cm
  • Chest: Minimum 76 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (i.e., 76-81 cm).
• Ex-Servicemen (ESM):
  • Total relaxation in physical standards is provided, but measurements will be recorded for documentation purposes.

Physical Medical Standards for CISF Constable Driver Recruitment 2025

• Medical Examination:
  • Conducted by medical boards to assess candidates’ physical and medical fitness based on uniform guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
• Weight:
  • Should be proportionate to height and age as per medical standards. Weight will be recorded during physical measurement, but final fitness regarding weight will be determined during the medical examination.
• Physical Fitness Requirements:
  • Candidates must not have knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or squint eyes.
  • Must be in good mental and bodily health without any defects that may interfere with efficient job performance.
• Eye Sight:
  • Near Vision:
    • Better Eye: N6
    • Worse Eye: N6
  • Distant Vision:
    • Better Eye: 6/6
    • Worse Eye: 6/6
  • Refraction:
    • No visual correction (e.g., glasses) is permitted.
  • Color Vision: CP II as per ISIHARA standards.
  • Additional Requirement: Binocular vision is required.
• Tattoo Policy:
  • Content: Tattoos depicting religious symbols, figures, or names (as allowed in the Indian Army) are permissible.
  • Location: Tattoos are allowed on traditional body sites, such as the inner aspect of the forearm (left) or dorsum of the hands.
  • Size: Must be less than ¼ of the particular body part (e.g., elbow or hand).
